My favorite project in this class was definitely the Audio Story assignment. I connected a lot with that one the most just because I put a lot more thought and effort into it. I spent more time planning out what I wanted to say, how I wanted it to sound, and how the message would come across. I had to think through the tone I wanted to use, the pacing I wanted to keep, the meaning behind the story, and the overall feeling I wanted the listener to get. It pushed me to slow down and be more intentional with my choices, and I liked that the project let me be creative in a way that felt personal and let me shop my connection with cars and my passion for them. Throughout the course, I built a set of skills that I know I’ll use moving forward. I learned how to edit in Adobe Premiere, how to record cleaner audio, how to organize visuals so they support the message, and how to write posts that explain my decisions clearly. I also got better at giving and receiving feedback. Hearing what other students noticed helped me catch things I didn’t see in my own work. These skills feel useful because they apply to almost anything digital, not just class projects. Looking ahead, I plan on taking more classes that involve communication, media, and design. No matter what career I go into, being able to create digital content and explain ideas clearly will matter. The assignments in this class showed me how to break a project into steps, revise it, and make it look cleaner over time. The audio story helped me understand how much impact sound has. The video projects taught me how visuals and timing affect how people understand information. The blog posts helped me practice writing for a general audience instead of writing only for school. All of that connects to skills I know I’ll need later. One skill I wish we spent more time on was audio editing. Even though I improved during the audio story project, I still feel like there is a lot more to learn. Small things like leveling the sound, fixing background noise, and matching tone across clips could have been explored more. Solid audio can change the whole quality of a project, so it would have been helpful to dig deeper into that. Outside resources helped me a lot too. YouTube was my main go-to when I got stuck with Premiere or needed to figure out how to fix a problem. Adobe Support pages and online forums were also useful. They gave quick answers when I didn’t want to wait or guess my way through a tool. The online format of the class worked fine for me. Having everything on Canvas made it easy to follow the steps. The ability to rewatch tutorials helped a lot when I needed to see something again. The only downside was not being able to ask questions in real time. One thing that could help future students is having optional live help sessions during big projects. Overall, this class helped me get more comfortable with multimedia storytelling. I feel more confident working with audio, video, and visual design. I can see the difference between my early work and my final projects, and that shows me how much I actually learned. The skills from this class will definitely show up in my future coursework and career plans. If you want, I can adjust the tone even more or make it sound more casual or more formal.
This was MY favorite project. I just love how the intro just goes into the story telling and the background music flowing in smoothly. To my this is probably my favorite project.
